Privacy
Short version: this is a static website. It sets no cookies, shows no ads, and only collects the personal information you choose to send or submit.
Hosting
The site is served by GitHub Pages. GitHub may log standard request data (such as IP address and user agent) to operate the service, under the GitHub privacy statement.
Analytics
Page views are counted with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly counter that uses no cookies and does not track you across sites. No personal profiles are built, and nothing is sold or shared.
On the resume page, a click on the Claude or ChatGPT button is counted the same way, as one event. Those buttons open Claude (Anthropic) or ChatGPT (OpenAI) in a new tab, and that company's privacy policy applies there.
A click on the resume page's Copy, Add to Cursor or Add to VS Code button also counts as one event.
Embedded content
Some pages embed third-party frames: a logo marquee hosted on Figma Sites, an Arcade product demo, a Google Calendar booking widget, and YouTube videos (in privacy-enhanced nocookie mode) on blog posts. When those load, the third party may receive standard request data under its own privacy policy.
If you email ron@skilltrade.marketing, the message is used to reply to you and for nothing else.
Email updates
If you sign up for Skill Trade updates, we use your email address to send a confirmation request. You join the marketing list only after confirming. Cloudflare hosts the signup service and stores subscription and consent records. Resend delivers confirmation emails. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
We store your email address, signup and confirmation times, and the consent text you accepted. Confirmation links expire after 24 hours. Unconfirmed requests are cleared during routine cleanup after 30 days. Hashed request information used to limit abuse is cleared during routine cleanup after 24 hours. We retain confirmation and unsubscribe records to honor your preferences. We do not sell your email address. To request deletion, email ron@skilltrade.marketing.
Ron MCP and web chat
The resume’s question box sends your question and relevant public source passages to Cloudflare Workers AI when you press the ask button or Enter. Please do not enter private or sensitive information. AI answers can be wrong. Cloudflare says it does not use this content to train models and does not retain standard inference content after processing, subject to safety and legal exceptions. It may retain operational metadata. Read Cloudflare’s data policy. The conversation stays in this page’s memory until you clear it or leave; it is not saved to browser storage or sent to site analytics.
The Ron MCP server at skilltrade-mcp.ron-6a4.workers.dev answers only from the public resume and llms.txt. It keeps no record of requests, apart from a per-visitor count in memory that limits abuse and expires a minute after the last request. Cloudflare hosts it and may log standard request data under its own policies.
